"The Michelin Group’s societal responsibility is embodied by its Sustainable Development and Mobility strategy. The quality of all our offers contributes to this commitment, including the offers concerning branded items. From 2024, all the branded items (catalogue products and special orders) will be exclusively sustainable"

How Prominate Contributes to Michelin Sustainability Shift

The Prominate sustainable supply chain works parallel to Michelin’s brand values, and we respect the approach to branded items. As of 2024, 100% of items provided by Prominate will have the following criteria for products and packaging:

Products – 80% Biodegradable or 80% Recyclable or 80% Recycled materials

Packaging – 100% Biodegradable or 100% Recyclable or 100% Recycled materials

The Prominate commitment to sustainable branded items is governed by established standards globally and locally such as Eco-Vadis, ISO & SEDEX certifications whilst respecting local environmental laws and regulations.

Establishing a Sustainable Product

A sustainable product provides environmental, social, and economic benefits while protecting the environment and public health throughout the entire product life cycle.

Simultaneously reducing the environmental business impact whilst increasing the social impact is at the heart of the Prominate sustainability core value. The role of sustainability within the Prominate global business can be found in four key areas: ESG, Supply Chain, Communication, and Training.

Whilst supply chain has the greatest global impact it is not a single area. By focusing on a sustainable supply chain Prominate and its global licensees ensure all aspects of a product comprise the following targets: eliminating waste, reducing energy consumption, protecting biodiversity, and a positive end-of-life cycle.
